MCAD and all its craziness

Wow long time no update. I've been here in Minneapolis attending MCAD since mid august. I love it here! The school, the people(minus some crazies I've dealt with), the classes and the professors! It's been a blast and a lot of hard work. Right now I'm currently functioning (debatable) on 9 hours of sleep over the last 3 days. Feeling a little loopy.

I'm taking History of Art & Design 1, 3D Foundations, Media 1, Intro to illustration and a french class. I'll post some work soon. I have to use the studio to document my work soon so I'll have top notch pictures. Feel kinda like I've produced a lot of mediocre work due to time constraints and my lack of time management. I'm still getting good critiques and what not, but I know I can do better.

Next semester will be a lot more open. The boy from back home is arriving tomorrow for a 5 day visit so life is good. About to go to gallery openings and crazy adventures.

Hey sorry I just saw this comment for the first time! crazy. Yeah i started out digital actually and sort of shifted to traditional once I got into the classes at hellgate. I really wish they would offer some sort of digital art class at hellgate, they used to have tablets when Mrs. Wood taught graphic design but I don't know what happened to them.

They've still got the tablets, but no one really bothered to get them working on the computers, so they're sort of screwy.

It's going well. I'm nervous for senior project. Is it as bad as everyone claims? I think I'm gonna try to record a CD. It seems like a fun idea, except for the part where I can only barely play guitar or sing. You know, little things.
